Researching Techniques (Embossing)

The book that I will be creating needed something that would make the book different. So I researched finishing techniques. The technique I researched was embossing. I thought of applying this technique to the front cover of my book so it makes it unique. I had a word with my lecturer and he said the embossing isn’t that difficult to produce. So I took his information on board and thought of speaking to the printing teacher. He said that embossing uses metal plates and I was limited into creating something. So I thought I’ll use the technique embossing for my type for the front cover of my book.
